We are seeking a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer (Hardware Focus) to develop next-generation IoT products. The role covers the full product lifecycle, from component selection and hardware design to testing and mass production.
Responsibilities
- Define system architecture and select optimal SoC/SoM based on cost, performance, and scalability
- Optimize BOM and component choices for cost efficiency and long-term availability
- Design and develop multi-layer PCBs using Altium/KiCad with DFM best practices
- Develop BSPs and low-level drivers for RTOS and bare-metal systems
- Ensure compliance with EMI/EMC, environmental, and regulatory standards
- Write efficient embedded firmware in C/C++ for system control and integration
- Apply strong knowledge of communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, etc.)
- Use Python for hardware testing and automation workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical / Computer Engineering (or related)
- 6+ years of experience in embedded systems & hardware design (IoT-focused)
- Proven experience in product development and system-level thinking
- Strong problem-solving mindset and hands-on engineering capability
Nice to have
- Use Generative AI for brainstorming, scenario simulation, and exploring design trade-offs
- Use LLMs to synthesize technical documentation and extract key integration insights
- Solve complex problems with innovative and system-level thinking
